Dear parents and children, with this last activity we will close what we learned in the period.
It is a closing activity that not only involves the manual skills learned by the kids, it also involves a reflection that I consider important at the moment: To understand the value that we must give to our environment, being more aware of all the waste we produce.
- It is for you to develop it during your vacation period, you have til 20th april 2020
Your own monsters toys/sculpture
Every paper roll monster you make will be unique – you can change colors, googly eyes and teeth to make them all different!

Materials needed
- Toilet paper Rolls
- Acrylic Paint
- White cardstock or just paper
- Large Pom Poms (optional)
- Googly Eyes or you can paint them in a white paper and paste it after cutting them
- Black marker or sharpie
- glue or liquid silicone
Step 1
1. First paint the toilet paper rolls – one purple, lime green, orange and red. Or you can use any colors you’d like! Even neon colors would look great.

Hello Kids and Parents
Welcome to the art virtual class
Glue the cream face onto the palm of the handprint with the fingers facing down.
Glue the top of the hat onto the end of the palm, then glue the bottom of the hat at its edge.
Cut out a small black square and a slightly larger gold square. Glue the small black square onto the larger gold square.
Today we are going to have fun this St. Patrick’s Day celebration making this cute leprechaun handprint craft kids and parents!
Materials needed
- Colored cardboard (in orange, cream, pink, green, black and gold or yellow, if you don't have any colour we should paint them in a piece of white cardboard)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Black marker
- Leprechaun template (print or use the image with the forms attached down here)
- Popsicle stick
Directions
Print the leprechaun template onto a white paper, cut out, then trace onto the corresponding colored card stock:
- top of hat = green
- bottom of hat = green
- band of hat = black
- face = cream
Trace your child’s handprint onto an orange piece of cardstock and cut out.
Glue the cream face onto the palm of the handprint with the fingers facing down.
Glue the top of the hat onto the end of the palm, then glue the bottom of the hat at its edge.
Cut out a small black square and a slightly larger gold square. Glue the small black square onto the larger gold square.
Glue the black band at the base of the hat, then glue the gold and black square in the middle of that. Trim any overhang from the sides of the hat.
Cut out two small rectangles from the orange paper to use as eyebrows. Glue these just below the hat.
Cut out a small oval from pink or red paper to use as a nose. Glue the nose in the middle of the face.
If you don’t want to use paper, you can always let your child use markers to draw on the leprechaun’s eyebrows and nose! This will save you some extra cutting and may be easier for little hands.
Using the black marker, make two eyes below the eyebrows and a smile below the nose.
