Hello Kids and Parents
Welcome to the art virtual class
- For children who doesn't have the art book yet, the images for the respective activities are attached so they can be printed
This is the first page we are going to develop (#4)
The Materials needed for this activity are:
- Coloured paper cut up pieces (colour like violet, blue,yellow, orange), if you don't have coloured paper at home you could use magazines or news paper with the palette colours you see on the book
- Scissors
- Glue stick
The steps for this activity are:
- Beging collecting colored pieces of paper to use in your sich shapes
- Cut your papers into pieces that fit into the fish shapes
- paste the paper pieces, filling the entire fish shape with the small colored pieces that fit together. Make sure that your pieces of paper are not touching. keep a consistent amount of space between them.
- Make sure you fill the entire fish shape, the only white you should see is in between your pieces of paper.

This video will help you to identify the autumns colours, to apply them in the following workbook pages
This is the second page we are going to develop (#5)
The Materials needed for this activity are:
- Natural leaves you found in the enviroment or you could draw them
- Pencil colours for the ones that couldn't found the leaves (orange, yellow, brown)
- Pencil to draw the leaves for the ones that couldn't found them in the enviroment
- Eraser
- Sharpener
- Glue
The steps for this activity are:
- Watch the video with the autumns colours
- Collect natural leaves (with the colours of the video) in your enviroment or draw them with pencil in the tree branches
- If you collect the leaves, paste them with glue around the tree branches.
- But if you draw them, colour them with pencil colours (yellow, red, orange and brown).

- Pencil colours
- Sharpener
The steps for this activity are:
- Choose from your pencil case, the colours that appears at the bottom of the sheet
- Identify the numbers that correspond to each colour and start colouring the figure following them (the numbers and colours)

The Materials needed for this activity are:
- Pencil colours or markers
- Sharpener
- An apple

The steps for this activity are:
- Choose an apple from your fridge or cupboard (if you don't have an apple choose an image from internet), to draw it with your pencil in an autumn scene in the blank space you have on the page
- Coloured your creation with pecil colours o markers following the autumn colour palette

Dear parents and children, with this last activity we will close what we learned in the period.
It is a closing activity that not only involves the manual skills learned by the kids, it also involves a reflection that I consider important at the moment: To understand the value that we must give to our environment, being more aware of all the waste we produce.

Your own owls toys/sculpture
These adorable toilet paper roll owls are very easy to make. The kids will love decorating them as they want and have fun with them
Materials needed
- White, orange, yellow paper
- Toilet paper rolls
- Glue or liquid silicone
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners
- Paint and a paint brush
- Markers
- Foam or colored cardboard
- Wiggly eyes
Step 1| Paint the toilet paper rolls
First, you will need to paint the toilet paper rolls. You can choose a colo from the autumn palette we develop in the last activities.
I ask you to used acrylic paint which dries pretty quickly.

Step 2 | Fold the top of the toilet roll owl
Once your paint dry, take a toilet paper roll and fold the top to form the ears of the owl.
Step 3 | Fix the eyes of the owl
Use very large wiggly eyes and stick them to the top of the folded toilet paper roll.
Alternatively, if you do not have big eyes, you can cut the shape out of white and black paper.
Step 4 | Fix the nose of the owl
In the yellow paper, cut a very small triangle and stick in just below the eyes of the owl.
Step 5 | The owl wings!
Once done with the nose, you will need to fix the wings on each side of the toilet paper roll.
If you do have foam or cardboard you can cut out a wing out of it and stick it. If not you can use a colored paper.

Step 6 | The owl legs!
That’s the last step, cut out two small ovals out of foam or cardboard and stick them to the bottom of the toilet paper roll.
Well done, you just made out your first owl toilet paper roll craft.

This Second image is for the hands and feets of you sharmrock puppet you should printed or trace it from your computer on a piece of paper, you only need 4 of this
For the eyes you could cut out 2 white circles and two smaller black circles and glued them together and then onto the Shamrock man. You could also use googly eyes.

As a warm up we are going to see a short video about the history of St. Patrick's day, to develop our own puppet
This is the Shamrock man puppet we will develop
Supplies:
- White paper
- Green paper
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
- Large shamrock template for the body image attached at the bottom
- Small shamrock template for the hand and feets image attached at the bottom
- Googly eyes (optional)

Directions:
1. Print large and small shamrocks onto green paper and cut out (cut stem off large shamrock). You need one large shamrock and four small shamrocks.
2. Cut 4 strips of white paper and fold accordion style. These will be the arms of the legs of the Shamrock man. We made the arms slightly shorter than the legs.
3. Glue the arms and legs to the large shamrock.
4. Glue the four small shamrocks to the end of the arms and legs of the Shamrock man.
5. Using a black marker (or crayon) draw a mouth onto the Shamrock man.
